As far as the public knows, this street houses numerous shops dealing with minor magic items - potions, talismans and similar items of dubious quality - and the offices of spellcasters willing to work for hire. But those with the right connections know that some of these shops serve as fronts for the local black market dealing in magical goods - ranging from magic weapons and wands for which the buyer doesn't have the appropriate license to materials required for demon and devil summoning to the most vile necromantic tomes.
