Town Culture

From Urbis Wiki

Most villages lie within a day's walk from a market town, where the villagers can sell their produce and buy the manufactured items they need for their work. Such towns have more educational opportunities than the small village schools can offer, such as grammar schools and trade schools with a limited selection of fields of study. Most towns also have a minor rail station, which brings connections to the wider world such as recent newspapers and regular visitors. Some town distinguish themselves by a unique product, a particular tourist attraction, or a popular festival. But many more have little more to offer than being a waystation between the villages and the larger, more interesting cities.
